Accessibility
The app, and the rooms it describes, are two different questions.
Venue Intelligence is meant to be usable without hiding information behind images, pointer-only controls or colour alone. The venue packets also record physical-access evidence when it exists. Those are separate responsibilities, and this page states both.
Using Venue Intelligence
- Keyboard operation. Navigation, filters, buttons and links are built as native interactive controls so they can be reached and used from a keyboard.
- Visible focus. Interactive controls retain a visible focus state; the page also provides a skip link so the planning surface can be reached without stepping through the entire header.
- Information is not colour-only. Verdicts and evidence states use words, symbols and labels as well as colour.
- Packet data is text. Capacity, access, evidence, open questions and source notes are rendered as text rather than being trapped in an image or chart.
- Theme controls are optional. Display choices change presentation, not the underlying venue record or verdict.
If a control prevents keyboard use, focus disappears, text becomes unreadable, or a screen reader loses the meaning of a verdict, that is an application defect rather than an intended limitation.
What a venue packet says about physical access
A packet may carry evidence about the guest route, accessible restrooms, parking, elevators, thresholds, loading and other access conditions. The important rule is that absence is not evidence of the opposite.
“Not recorded” does not mean “not accessible.”
It means the retained record does not establish the point. A packet with no step-free route note is not asserting that steps exist; it is telling you that the route still needs to be confirmed. The same rule applies to restrooms, parking, lifts and every other access field.
Marketing language does not clear a hard access requirement by itself. Where access is material to an event, confirm the actual route and facilities with the venue in writing and, when possible, verify them during a site visit.
What this statement does not certify
This page is not a legal compliance certificate for the application or for any venue. Venue records are best-effort planning evidence. Building-code compliance, disability access requirements, emergency egress and event-specific accommodations remain matters for the venue and the relevant authority to confirm.
